Cole Porter was one of the twentieth century’s most colourful characters, and the charm and wit of his music and lyrics have enchanted generations of music-lovers. His memorable Broadway musicals include Kiss Me Kate, High Society and Anything Goes and, as well as these, he wrote numerous songs which have now become worldwide standards.
Four leading singers from London’s West End perform the timeless songs of Cole Porter including such classics as Begin the Beguine, I Love Paris, Blow Gabriel Blow, I Get a Kick Out of You, All Through the Night, Let’s Do it, Well Did You Evah?, Friendship, Be A Clown, Brush Up Your Shakespeare, So In Love, Night and Day, You’re the Top and many, many more. The orchestra also star in two great Cole Porter Overtures written in the 1960’s by the great orchestrator Robert Russell Bennett.
