West End International produced the UK award winning premier of Rags, An American Musical, at the Bridewell Theatre, London from October to December 2001 as part of the London Jewish Arts Festival. Rags tells the story of Rebecca Hershkowitz, a beautiful Russian Jew who escapes the pogroms of persecution in Eastern Europe with her young son David to join her husband in New York.
